Description
Ben Lysaght (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Pakeha) uses collage to make bizarre, uncanny staged worlds. By imagining new and humorous contexts he brings a magical lens to transform symbols of pop culture, mythology, and sexuality.
Ben Lysaght graduated from Massey University, Wellington in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. These works were first exhibited at his solo show 'Chimeras! Oh my!' at the vintage clothing store, Hunters and Collectors gallery space in September 2023.
