Description
Canterbury artist Mark Lander is well known for his hand made flax paper and clay pigments. Lander studied a Diploma in Painting at Canterbury School of Fine Art in the late 1970s. After becoming interested in the process of papermaking Lander began experiemtning and then teaching this artform around the world. Lander constructs his own travel sized machinery and runs The Papermill Gallery in Amberley, South Island.
